Since the withdrawal of the United States from the Iran nuclear agreement and the Trump administration’s imposition of a maximum pressure policy on Iran to renegotiate the agreement, a steady increase in violence in the Persian Gulf allegedly carried out by Tehran has brought the region to the precipice of a new Gulf War. Three known experts will contextualize and discuss this crisis and its ramifications for the region and the United States.
